Open Memorial Weekend thru Labor Day Weekend

Open 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (7 Days a week unless inclement weather)

 

How much does it cost?

  • $16.00 Per Person (plus tax)

  • Cooler Tubes can be rented for an additional $10.00 (plus tax)

  • Cash Only

 

Check In Information

  • Arrive between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM at the Native American Craft Shop located at 1847 Tsali Blvd, Cherokee, NC 28719. Last trip is at 5:00 PM.

  • Park in the big grass field and report to the tubing tent to check-in and complete your Waiver.

 

  • A Waiver must be completed for each group or by individual (link below in FAQs). Minimum age is 5.

  • The Shuttle Bus is available nonstop to put you on the river and take you off in a timely manner. No reservations needed except for groups over 20.

Safety

  • Minimum Age: 5

  • Life Jackets are provided and recommended to be worn at all times, regardless of age.

  • Wear shoes you don't mind getting wet!

  • Governed under the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians- we meet all insurance requirements and expectations.

How many people can you accommodate?

  • We can accommodate up to 200 people at one time and we have multiple buses running with limited to no wait times!

 

Do you offer discounts?

  • Yes, we offer military discounts- 10% for the individual.

  • Group Discounts- 15 or more (must pay as one).

We have plenty of parking for everyone!

 

How long is the trip?

The time of trip is determined by the water level. On average it is a 1.5 - 2.5 hours.

 

Do you have changing room & rest rooms?

Yes, bring an extra set of clothing!

Q. Do I need to sign a Waiver?

A. Yes, each group must complete a Waiver for each participant. Print/Complete the Waiver from the following link:

     (Waivers also available on site- must have physical copy)

 

Q. Do you rent tubes for my cooler?

A. Yes, they cost $10.00 (plus tax)

Q. Can I bring a fishing pole?

A.  You are more than welcome to bring a fishing pole. A fee of $50.00 dollars will be charged if there is any damage to the rental tube. 

Q. Can I bring my dog/ pet?

A. Yes, a fee of $50.00 will be charged if there is any damage to the rental tube. 

Q. Can my under 5 year old tube on my lap or in their own tube?

A. No, unfortunately this is not a safe practice, and we do not encourage or allow it on our trips. Minimum age is 5.

Q. Do you have restrooms and changing areas?

A. Yes, we have changing rooms and portable bathrooms available for tubers. 

Q. What time do you start/ end?

A. We start putting tubers on the river at 10 AM and we stop putting tubers on the river at 5 PM. Please arrive no later than 4:30 PM as the water does feel a little colder when the sun begins to go down...

Q. How long is the trip and how long does it take?

A. The trip is 3-mile float that takes approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours. The water level has an effect. 

Q. How will I know when to get off?

A. There will be signs and we will explain it to you as part of the check-in and way up the river.
